At Gas Safe Bristol, we’ve always believed in giving back to the communities we serve across the South West. As a family-run business, grassroots sport is something that sits close to our hearts — so we’re delighted to share that we have become proud sponsors of Mendip Broadwalk FC Under 9s.
We’ve been following this fantastic group of young players and wanted to do something practical to support them. Anyone who has stood on a touchline on a cold, wet Saturday morning knows how tough it can be for the players and coaches waiting on the sidelines. So, our first contribution was something we felt would make a real difference on match days.
Keeping the Team Warm, Dry and Ready to Play
We funded the purchase of a Forza portable team shelter and a full set of team chairs, giving the Under 9s somewhere to rest, regroup and stay dry when they’re not on the pitch. It might sound simple, but for a group of young players, having a proper dugout setup makes a real difference — it helps with focus at half time, keeps spirits up in difficult weather and gives the coaching team the space they need to talk tactics.
Seeing the kids pile under the shelter is exactly the kind of moment that reminds us why community sponsorship matters.
This Is Just the Beginning
