Our Core Values
At Gas Safe, our business is guided by a clear set of values. These values, which we think of as our DNA, are the foundation of our business and reflect the unique range of qualities that we pride ourselves on.
At Gas Safe, our business is guided by a clear set of values. These values, which we think of as our DNA, are the foundation of our business and reflect the unique range of qualities that we pride ourselves on.
In an industry which is unfortunately still targeted by rogue tradesmen, we pride ourselves on our honesty and integrity.
We offer a quality service at fair prices and will never overquote, confuse customers with jargon or carry out remedial work when it’s not necessary.
Part of this commitment is holding a number of professional accreditations with industry bodies and manufacturers, giving customers the peace of mind that work is being carried out to the manufacturer’s standard and allowing us to offer extended warranties and free quotes.
Furthermore, we are CHAS accredited and part of the Gas Safe Register, a legal requirement for working on gas appliances in the UK.
Unlike many in the industry, all of our staff are fully employed, not subcontracted. This gives our staff full employment rights and job security.
We ensure all of our staff have access to the best kit, the latest training and have the tools, equipment and knowledge to carry out work confidently on behalf of the company.
We also strongly believe in training up the next generation of gas engineers, which is why we’ve trained a total of 9 apprentices since 2015.
We are a local, independent company that’s owned and managed by local people.
Where others might sub out their call centre operations outside the South West or overseas, we employ a full office team who manage our Bristol based location.
We pride ourselves on being able to serve the local area quickly and efficiently, with many of our engineers living in Bristol and Weston Super Mare.
Over the years, we have raised £1,000s through charitable activities such as team days and sporting challenges.
One of our most recent charitable events was a 400km bike ride from Bristol to France – with our team raising over £2,000 towards a total pot of £34,000.
As well as raising money for charity, we are also proud of our sponsorship of St Aldhelm’s FC U13 girl’s squad.
Sustainability is a big part of what we do at Gas Safe.
As well as recycling in our office and doing everything we can to reduce waste, we ensure that all old boilers we remove are recycled where possible, instead of being sent to landfill.
We are also currently investing in renewable technology, as we know this will one day be the future of home heating and we are proud to be at the forefront of this.
As part of our commitment, we have MCS certification through NICEIC, a scheme set up to improve standards and maintain high product quality in the domestic renewable energy sector.
We are a family, and that means all of our staff and customers, regardless of sex, race, disability, religion or age are treated equally in every aspect of our business – enough said.
